Leadership Rounds - David Dove May 2025

Healthcare and higher education are essential partners in workforce and leadership development.

Join Leadership Rounds with Caylee Noggle on May 5 at 2 p.m. for a compelling and timely conversation with David Dove, Chair of the University System of Georgia Board of Regents. David offers a unique perspective on the education‑to‑workforce pipeline, public policy, and government decision‑making. In addition to leading Troutman Pepper Locke’s Regulatory + Economic Investment Practice in the Southeast, he has served as Executive Counsel to Governor Brian Kemp and in other senior state leadership roles.

This session is designed to sharpen leadership thinking, deepen understanding of workforce dynamics and graduate medical education, and support professional growth for healthcare leaders navigating today's complex environment.

You Don’t Need a Weatherman: What Healthcare Leaders Are Walking into Right Now

At this year’s American College of Healthcare Executives Congress, one theme came through loud and clear: Healthcare leadership just got more complicated. Not incrementally. Structurally.

In a recent article, HealthSearch Partners outlined four forces converging at the same time:

  • Financial uncertainty.
  • Rapid acceleration of AI.
  • Workforce instability.
  • Growing C-suite unrest.

The question is not whether change is coming. It’s how leaders respond in the first moments that defines what comes next.
