Cyber Incident Response Plan (CIRP) Development 

 

The Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) Learning Academy will host a Cyber Incident Response Plan (CIRP) Development webinar on April 14. This session will provide practical insights into crafting a Cyber Incident Response Plan for your organization to reduce downtime and quickly recover. 

Measles Cases and Outbreaks

 

As of March 12, 1,362 confirmed measles cases were reported in the United States in 2026. Among these, 1,353 measles cases were reported by 31 jurisdictions. There have been 14 new outbreaks reported in 2026, and 94% of confirmed cases (1,281 of 1,362) are outbreak-associated (256 from outbreaks starting in 2026 and 1,025 from outbreaks that started in 2025).

Insulet Initiates Voluntary Medical Device Correction for Certain Omnipod® 5 Pods in the U.S. | FDA

 

Insulet Corporation has initiated a voluntary Medical Device Correction for specific lots of Omnipod® 5 Pods after identifying a manufacturing issue through its ongoing product monitoring. This action applies to specific identified lots distributed in the United States, and all other Omnipod® 5 Pods and Omnipod® products remain safe to use.

Lidl US Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Hazelnuts in Favorina Chocolate Ladybugs – German-Style Nougat

 

Lidl US is recalling all lots of their Favorina Chocolate Ladybugs - German-Style Nougat 3.52 oz box UPC 20304492 due to an undeclared hazelnut allergen. People who have allergies to hazelnuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products. The products were distributed between Jan. 28 and March 11. 

Primal Herbs Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Primal Herbs Volume Due to Undeclared Sildenafil | FDA

 

Primal Supplements Group LLC is voluntarily recalling all orders of Primal Herbs Volume placed between July 2 and Sept. 19, 2025, because FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Primal Herbs Volume contains sildenafil not listed on the product label. This undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.
